Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrive in Cochin

Arrive in Cochin, where you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After checking in, explore the historic city of Cochin, including visits to Fort Kochi, Jewish Synagogue, and the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets.

Day 02 Cochin Sightseeing

After breakfast, continue exploring Cochin. Visit the Mattancherry Palace, the St. Francis Church, and take a walk along the vibrant streets of Fort Kochi. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Kathakali dance performance.

Day 03 Cochin – Thekkady (Approx 160 Kms / 4 Hrs)

After breakfast, depart for Thekkady (Periyar), home to the famous Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on Periyar Lake, where you can spot wildlife such as elephants, deer, and a variety of birds.

Day 04 Thekkady Exploration

After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Thekkady. Take a nature walk in the forest, visit the local spice plantations, and explore the surrounding area. You can also opt for bamboo rafting and other adventure activities in the region.

Day 05 Thekkady – Kumarakom (Approx 120 Kms / 3.5 Hrs)

In the morning, drive to Kumarakom, a beautiful village on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing in the serene backwaters or exploring the nearby Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.

Day 06 Kumarakom

After breakfast, board your private houseboat and cruise through the tranquil backwaters of Kumarakom. Enjoy the scenic views of the lush landscapes, coconut groves, and traditional villages. Relax on the houseboat as you sail through the canals.

Day 07 Kumarakom – Mararikulam (Approx 40 Kms / 1 Hr)

After breakfast, disembark from your houseboat and drive to Mararikulam, a peaceful beach destination. On arrival, check in to your beach resort and spend the day relaxing on the pristine beaches of Mararikulam.

Day 08 Mararikulam Beach Day

Spend the entire day at leisure on the beautiful beaches of Mararikulam. You can indulge in water sports, take a relaxing stroll along the shore, or simply unwind at your resort.

Day 09 Mararikulam – Cochin (Approx 70 Kms / 1.5 Hrs) & Departure

After breakfast, check out from your resort and transfer back to Cochin for your onward journey. You will be dropped off at the Cochin Airport or railway station, concluding your 9-day South India tour.
