Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station and drive to Gangtok (approx. 125 km / 4 hours), the capital city of Sikkim. Check into your hotel and relax for the evening. You can explore the local markets or enjoy a leisurely walk around the city.

Day 02 Excursion to Changu / Tsomgo Lake / Nathula (Optional)

Take a day trip to Changu Lake (Tsomgo Lake), a glacial lake situated at an altitude of 3,753 meters. Optional excursion to Nathula Pass (subject to permit availability), located on the Indo-China border. Return to Gangtok in the evening and enjoy local sightseeing.

Day 03 Transfer to Lachen from Gangtok

Drive to Lachen (approx. 120 km / 6 hours), a beautiful village situated at an altitude of 2,750 meters. En route, visit scenic spots like the Seven Sisters Waterfalls and the Naga Waterfalls. Arrive in Lachen by late afternoon and check into your hotel.

Day 04 Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Transfer to Lachung

Early morning drive to Gurudongmar Lake (approx. 67 km), one of the highest lakes in the world, situated at an altitude of 5,430 meters. After the excursion, return to Lachen for lunch and then proceed to Lachung (approx. 50 km / 2 hours). Check into your hotel and rest for the evening.

Day 05 Sightseeing at Yumthang Valley and Transfer to Gangtok

Visit the picturesque Yumthang Valley, also known as the Valley of Flowers, situated at an altitude of 3,564 meters. After enjoying the beauty of the valley, return to Lachung for lunch and then drive back to Gangtok (approx. 118 km / 6 hours).

Day 06 Gangtok to Pelling Departure (132 Km / 5 hrs)
