Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival in Guwahati Airport/Railway Station

Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You may opt for a visit to the famous Kamakhya Temple or take a walk along the banks of the Brahmaputra River.

Day 02 Guwahati- Kaziranga (220 Km)

After breakfast, drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 220 km / 5 hours). Check into your lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the nearby tea gardens or the village surroundings.

Day 03 Kaziranga Sightseeing

Start your day with an early morning elephant safari in the central range of the park to spot the famous one-horned rhinoceros and other wildlife. After breakfast, enjoy a jeep safari in the western range for more wildlife sightings. Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge.

Day 04 Kaziranga- Shillong (278Km - 8 hrs)

Drive to Shillong (approx. 278 km / 8 hours), the capital of Meghalaya, also known as the "Scotland of the East." On arrival, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore local markets or enjoy the pleasant weather.

Day 05 Shillong Sightseeing

Explore the main attractions of Shillong, including Ward's Lake, Don Bosco Museum, and Lady Hydari Park. Visit Elephant Falls and enjoy the views from Shillong Peak. Spend the evening at leisure, strolling around Police Bazar.

Day 06 Shillong – Cherrapunji

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji (approx. 60 km / 2 hours), known for its lush green landscapes and high rainfall. Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Dainthlen Falls. Return to Shillong in the evening for leisure time.

Day 07 Cherrapunji - Mawlynnong – Dawki
