Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival at Guwahati – Transfer to Kaziranga National Park (193 km / 4 hrs)

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its population of one-horned rhinoceros, Kaziranga is also home to tigers, elephants, and various bird species.

Once you arrive, check in to your resort near the park and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure, soaking in the natural beauty of the area.

Day 02 Jungle Safari at Kaziranga National Park

Start your day early with an exciting Elephant Safari into the heart of Kaziranga National Park. Spot one-horned rhinos, elephants, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. After breakfast, return to the park for a Jeep Safari, exploring the park’s grasslands, wetlands, and dense forests.

Spend the evening at leisure, enjoying the tranquility of the area or exploring the local village markets.

Day 03 Kaziranga to Shillong (255 km / 5 hrs 30 mins)

After breakfast, check out from your resort and drive to Shillong, the capital city of Meghalaya, often referred to as the 'Scotland of the East'. The drive offers scenic views of green hills, valleys, and rivers.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening exploring Police Bazaar, a bustling market in the heart of Shillong.

Day 04 Shillong to Cherrapunji – Return to Shillong (54 km / 1 hr 45 mins)

After breakfast, take a full-day excursion to Cherrapunji, known for receiving the highest rainfall in India. Visit the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls, the highest plunge waterfall in India, and explore the beautiful Mawsmai Caves and Seven Sisters Falls.

In the evening, return to Shillong and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel in Shillong.
Day 05 Shillong to Mawlynnong Village and Dawki – Return to Shillong (83 km / 2 hrs 30 mins)

After breakfast, take a day trip to Mawlynnong Village, known as the cleanest village in Asia. Explore the village, visit the fascinating Living Root Bridge, and experience the unique culture of the Khasi people.

Continue your journey to Dawki, where you can enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Later, return to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Day 06 Shillong to Guwahati (99 km / 2 hrs 30 mins)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive back to Guwahati. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore local markets or visit the famous Kamakhya Temple on Nilachal Hill.

Day 07 Departure from Guwahati
