Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival at Patna Airport / Railway Station

Arrive at Patna, the capital of Bihar. After checking in to your hotel, explore the city's important landmarks, including the historic Golghar, the Patna Museum, and Takht Sri Patna Sahib, an important Sikh pilgrimage site. Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 02 Patna – Gaya

After breakfast, drive to Gaya (approx. 4 hours), a sacred town for Hindus and Buddhists alike. Visit the Vishnupad Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and explore the town’s religious significance. In the evening, take part in rituals along the Falgu River.

Day 03 Gaya – Bodhgaya – Gaya

After breakfast, take a day trip to Bodhgaya (approx. 30 minutes), the most important Buddhist pilgrimage site. Visit the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the sacred Bodhi Tree under which Buddha attained enlightenment. Explore other important monasteries and sites around Bodhgaya. In the evening, return to Gaya for an overnight stay.

Day 04 Gaya – Nalanda – Rajgir

After breakfast, drive to Nalanda (approx. 2 hours) to visit the ruins of Nalanda University, one of the oldest universities in the world. Explore the university complex, which includes temples, monasteries, and a museum showcasing ancient artifacts. Continue to Rajgir, where you can visit Griddhakuta Hill (Vulture's Peak) and the Vishwa Shanti Stupa. Spend the evening exploring this historic town.

Day 05 Rajgir – Pavapuri – Patna
