Itinerary Details

Day 01 Guwahati – Shillong

Arrive in Guwahati and transfer to Shillong (approx. 100 km / 3 hours). En route, stop at the beautiful Umiam Lake for a quick photo opportunity. Upon arrival in Shillong, check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring local markets or relaxing at your leisure.

Day 02 Shillong

Explore the main attractions of Shillong, including Ward's Lake, Don Bosco Museum, and Lady Hydari Park. Enjoy panoramic views from Shillong Peak and visit Elephant Falls. Spend the evening exploring Police Bazar, Shillong's central market area.

Day 03 Shillong – Jowai

After breakfast, drive to Jowai (approx. 65 km / 2 hours), a scenic town in the Jaintia Hills district. Visit the magnificent Thadlaskein Lake and the ancient Nartiang Monoliths. The monoliths are significant to Jaintia culture and history. Enjoy the serene surroundings and natural beauty.

Day 04 Jowai – Krang Suri – Jowai

Spend the day exploring the stunning Krang Suri Waterfall. Take a swim in the crystal-clear waters or simply enjoy the breathtaking views. After spending quality time at the waterfall, return to Jowai for an overnight stay.
Day 05 Jowai – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Cherrapunjee

Drive to Dawki and enjoy a boat ride on the Umngot River, famous for its crystal-clear water. Continue to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village, and explore the village, visiting the Living Root Bridge. Later, drive to Cherrapunjee and check into your hotel.

Day 06 Cherrapunjee

Day 07 Cherrapunjee – Guwahati - Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati (approx. 180 km / 5 hours). If time permits, visit the Kamakhya Temple or explore the local markets before your departure. Transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, concluding your 7-day tour of Meghalaya.
