Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival at New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra - Gangtok (130 km / 4 hrs)

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The drive to Gangtok offers scenic views of lush greenery and mountain roads.

Once you arrive in Gangtok, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure. You can explore the local markets on MG Road or relax in the peaceful surroundings.

Day 02 Gangtok to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (52 km / 3 hrs each way)

After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to the serene Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake is surrounded by snow-clad mountains and remains frozen during the winter months, offering breathtaking views.

After visiting the lake, proceed to the sacred Baba Mandir, a memorial dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a revered Indian army soldier. This temple is believed to have spiritual significance and is visited by many tourists.

Return to Gangtok by afternoon and relax at your hotel. Overnight stay at your hotel in Gangtok.
Day 03 Gangtok to Lachen (130 km / 7 hrs)

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and start your scenic drive to Lachen, a peaceful village situated at an altitude of 9,000 feet. The drive passes through lush green forests, cascading waterfalls, and quaint villages.

En route, visit the Seven Sisters Waterfalls and enjoy the picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival in Lachen, check in to your hotel and relax for the evening.

Day 04 Lachen to Gurudongmar Lake (Indians Only) and Lachung (120 km / 6 hrs)

Start your day early with a drive to the high-altitude Gurudongmar Lake, one of the highest lakes in the world, situated at an altitude of 17,800 feet. The lake is considered sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists and offers stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.

After visiting the lake, return to Lachen for lunch and continue your journey to Lachung. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax in the peaceful mountain village.

Day 05 Excursion to Yumthang Valley (25 km / 1.5 hrs)

After breakfast, take a half-day excursion to the stunning Yumthang Valley, also known as the 'Valley of Flowers'. Located at an altitude of 11,800 feet, the valley is filled with blooming flowers during spring and is surrounded by majestic mountains.

You can also visit the nearby Hot Springs, which are believed to have medicinal properties. After exploring the valley, return to Lachung for lunch and then drive back to Gangtok.

Day 06 Gangtok to Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri (150 km / 5 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey, taking back cherished memories of your North Sikkim adventure.
