Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport - Gangtok (120 km / 4-5 hours)

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The drive offers picturesque views of mountains and valleys, making your journey relaxing and scenic.

After checking in to your hotel in Gangtok, take a stroll around MG Road in the evening to enjoy the local markets and street food.

Day 02 Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Begin with a visit to the serene Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet, known for its crystal-clear waters and snow-capped surroundings. If time permits, you can also visit the Baba Mandir, a memorial dedicated to an Indian army soldier.

In the afternoon, visit the Rumtek Monastery, one of the most significant monasteries in Sikkim. Explore the rich Tibetan culture, architecture, and peaceful ambiance of the monastery.

Return to your hotel in Gangtok for an overnight stay.
Day 03 Gangtok to Kalimpong (75 km / 2.5 hours)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Gangtok and drive to Kalimpong. The journey is filled with beautiful views of terraced fields and the Teesta River. Upon arrival in Kalimpong, check in to your hotel.

In the afternoon, visit some of the town's famous landmarks, including the Durpin Dara Hill, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and the Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery, known for its exquisite murals and ancient scriptures.

Day 04 Kalimpong to Darjeeling (50 km / 2 hours)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to the famous hill town of Darjeeling, known for its tea gardens and scenic views of the Himalayas. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.

In the evening, visit the Japanese Peace Pagoda and the nearby Darjeeling Zoo, where you can see rare animals such as the Red Panda. Stroll through the local markets and enjoy some shopping.

Day 05 Darjeeling Sightseeing

Start your day early with a visit to Tiger Hill to witness the breathtaking sunrise over Kanchenjunga, the third-highest mountain in the world. On your way back, stop by the Ghoom Monastery and the famous Batasia Loop, a picturesque railway loop where the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway passes through.

In the afternoon, visit the Darjeeling Tea Gardens, where you can learn about the process of tea making and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of tea while taking in the lush green surroundings.

Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Day 06 Darjeeling to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport Departure (70 km / 2-3 hours)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. Take back wonderful memories of your trip to Sikkim and Darjeeling.
