Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival at Chennai

Upon arrival at Chennai International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the local markets or relaxing after your journey.

In the evening, you can opt for a visit to Marina Beach, the longest urban beach in India, or stroll through the bustling streets of T. Nagar, Chennai’s popular shopping district.

Day 02 Chennai Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing in Chennai. Visit prominent landmarks such as the Kapaleeshwarar Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and the magnificent San Thome Basilica, built over the tomb of St. Thomas the Apostle.

Continue to the Government Museum to explore its rich collection of art and history. In the evening, take a drive along the scenic Marina Beach. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03 Chennai – Kanchipuram (75 km / 2 hours)

After breakfast, proceed to Kanchipuram, one of India’s seven sacred cities. Known as the "City of a Thousand Temples," Kanchipuram is renowned for its ancient Dravidian architecture. Visit the famous Kamakshi Amman Temple, dedicated to the goddess Kamakshi, and the Ekambareswarar Temple, a towering temple complex dedicated to Lord Shiva.

In the afternoon, explore the vibrant silk markets of Kanchipuram, where exquisite hand-woven silk sarees are made. Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Day 04 Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (70 km / 2 hours)

After breakfast, depart for Mahabalipuram, a coastal town renowned for its UNESCO World Heritage-listed monuments. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.

In the afternoon, visit the famous Shore Temple, one of the oldest structural temples in South India, and the impressive Pancha Rathas, a set of monolithic rock-cut structures that display stunning Dravidian architecture.

Day 05 Mahabalipuram Sightseeing

After breakfast, continue your sightseeing in Mahabalipuram. Visit the Descent of the Ganges (also known as Arjuna's Penance), an enormous rock relief that tells the story of the descent of the sacred Ganges River from heaven.

Later, explore Krishna’s Butter Ball, a giant balancing rock, and the Varaha Cave Temple, a small rock-cut temple. Spend the evening relaxing by the beach or exploring the local handicraft markets.
