Itinerary Details

Day 01 Dibrugarh Arrival

Arrive in Dibrugarh, a city known for its tea gardens. Transfer to your hotel and spend the day exploring the surroundings or taking a walk through the scenic tea estates. Dibrugarh is often referred to as the "Tea City of India" due to its vast tea plantations.

Day 02 Dibrugarh - Sivasagar – Jorhat (130 Kms)

Drive to Sivasagar (approx. 76 km / 2 hours), the historical capital of the Ahom Kingdom. Visit major attractions such as the Rang Ghar, Talatal Ghar, and Shivadol Temple. Continue your journey to Jorhat (approx. 54 km / 1.5 hours), known for its tea gardens and cultural heritage.

Day 03 Jorhat - Majuli Island - Kaziranga (120 Kms)

Take a ferry ride to Majuli Island, the world's largest river island, famous for its Vaishnavite culture and monasteries. Explore the island’s unique cultural heritage, crafts, and natural beauty. Return to Jorhat and drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 120 km / 3 hours), renowned for its one-horned rhinoceros.

Day 04 Kaziranga Safari

Start your day with an early morning elephant safari in the central range of the park, where you can spot rhinos, elephants, and various bird species. After breakfast, enjoy a jeep safari in the western range for more wildlife exploration. Spend the evening relaxing at your lodge.

Day 05 Kaziranga – Guwahati
