Itinerary Details

Day 01 Guwahati - Shillong (100 Kms)

Begin your journey with a drive from Guwahati to Shillong (approx. 100 km / 3 hours). En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake for a photo opportunity and enjoy the scenic views. Upon arrival in Shillong, check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the local markets or relaxing at the hotel.

Day 02 Shillong – Cherrapunji

After breakfast, depart for Cherrapunji (approx. 60 km / 2 hours), one of the wettest places on Earth. En route, visit the famous Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak for panoramic views. On arrival in Cherrapunji, explore attractions such as Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, and Dainthlen Falls. Experience the stunning landscapes and learn about the region's unique geographical features.

Day 03 Cherrapunji - Double Decker Root Bridge Trekking

Embark on a trek to Nongriat village to visit the renowned Double Decker Root Bridge. Continue your journey to Dawki, where you can take a boat ride on the Umngot River and enjoy the crystal-clear waters. Later, return to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Day 05 Shillong Sightseeing - Departure
