Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival at Jorhat Airport/Railway Station

Arrive at Jorhat Airport or Railway Station. Jorhat is known for its tea gardens and serves as a gateway to Majuli. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and spend the day at leisure, exploring the town or relaxing amidst the scenic tea estates.

Day 02 Jorhat – Majuli

Take a ferry ride to Majuli, the world's largest river island. Known for its Vaishnavite culture, visit the island’s ancient monasteries (Satras), interact with local artisans, and experience traditional Assamese lifestyle. In the evening, return to Jorhat for an overnight stay.

Day 03 Majuli – Kaziranga

Drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 110 km / 3 hours), a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its one-horned rhinoceros. Check into your lodge and enjoy the rest of the day exploring the park's surroundings or visiting nearby attractions.

Day 04 Kaziranga
