Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival at New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra - Gangtok (130 km / 4 hrs)

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The scenic drive takes you through lush green hills and winding roads, offering beautiful views of the countryside.

After checking in to your hotel, you can take a stroll through MG Road in the evening, exploring the local markets and enjoying the street food.

Day 02 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (52 km / 3 hrs each way)

After breakfast, embark on a half-day excursion to the stunning Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake remains frozen during winter and offers a mesmerizing view of the surrounding snow-capped mountains.

After visiting the lake, proceed to the sacred Baba Mandir, a memorial temple dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian army soldier. This temple holds spiritual significance and offers peaceful surroundings.

Day 03 Gangtok City Tour and Transfer to Darjeeling (98 km / 4 hours)

After breakfast, explore the major attractions of Gangtok with a city tour. Visit the Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim, known for its beautiful architecture and spiritual ambiance.

Afterward, visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, a renowned center for Tibetan studies, and the Do Drul Chorten Stupa. In the afternoon, drive to the famous hill station of Darjeeling, known for its scenic beauty and tea gardens.

Day 04 Full Day Darjeeling City Tour
