Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport - Gangtok (120 km / 4-5 hours)

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the beautiful hill town of Gangtok. The drive takes you through scenic valleys, winding roads, and beautiful river views.

Upon reaching Gangtok, check in to your hotel. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along MG Road, the heart of Gangtok's shopping and dining scene, and enjoy the local culture.

Day 02 Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit the famous Tsomgo Lake, located at an altitude of 12,400 feet, known for its pristine beauty and spiritual significance. If the season permits, you may also visit the Baba Mandir, a revered temple in the region.

In the afternoon, visit the Rumtek Monastery, one of the largest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim. Explore the rich Buddhist culture and take in the peaceful surroundings.

Day 03 Gangtok to Darjeeling (98 km / 3 hours)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Darjeeling, the 'Queen of the Hills'. The drive takes you through lush tea gardens and scenic mountain vistas. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, check in to your hotel.

In the afternoon, explore the local markets of Darjeeling or visit the iconic Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (Toy Train), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also take a walk through the famous Chowrasta, a popular gathering place in Darjeeling.

Day 04 Darjeeling to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport Departure (70 km / 2-3 hours)

Early in the morning, take a trip to Tiger Hill to witness the stunning sunrise over the mighty Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the world. Afterward, visit the Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop, both significant landmarks of Darjeeling.
