Itinerary Details

Day 01 Arrival at Guwahati - Transfer to Shillong (99.9 km / 2 hrs 36 mins)

Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to the beautiful hill station of Shillong. The scenic drive takes you through lush landscapes, rolling hills, and tranquil lakes.

Once in Shillong, check in to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. You can take a stroll around Ward’s Lake or explore the local markets on Police Bazaar.

Day 02 Shillong to Cherrapunjee (54 km / 1 hr 45 mins)

After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth, known for its stunning waterfalls and caves. Visit the famous Nohkalikai Falls, the highest plunge waterfall in India, and explore the beautiful Mawsmai Caves and Seven Sisters Falls.

On your way back to Shillong, you can also visit the Elephant Falls and enjoy the scenic beauty of the region. Return to your hotel in Shillong for an overnight stay.
Day 03 Cherrapunjee – Mawlynnong and Dawki – Return to Shillong (175.7 km / 5 hrs 47 mins)

After breakfast, take a day trip to the cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong. Explore this picturesque village and visit the famous Living Root Bridge, a marvel of bioengineering.

Continue your journey to Dawki, a small border town near Bangladesh, famous for the crystal-clear Umngot River. You can take a boat ride on the river and enjoy the surreal beauty of the surroundings. Later, return to Shillong for an overnight stay.
Day 04 Shillong to Mawsynram and Back (60.3 km / 2 hrs 18 mins)

After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Mawsynram, the wettest place on earth, located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya. Visit the famous Mawsmai Caves, Shillong Peak, and the Sacred Forest.

Day 05 Shillong to Kaziranga National Park (255.2 km / 5 hrs 16 mins)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to the world-famous Kaziranga National Park in Assam, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kaziranga is home to the largest population of the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, as well as tigers, elephants, and a variety of bird species.

Day 06 Kaziranga Jungle Safari (Elephant + Jeep Safari)

Begin your day with an early morning Elephant Safari into the heart of Kaziranga, where you can spot rhinos, elephants, and other wildlife up close in their natural habitat. After breakfast, take a Jeep Safari to explore more of the park’s vast grasslands and dense forests.

Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the tranquility of the park. Overnight stay at your resort in Kaziranga.
Day 07 Kaziranga to Hoollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary (Jorhat - 112 km / 3 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Hoollongapar Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary near Jorhat, Assam. The sanctuary is known for its rare population of Hoolock Gibbons, India's only ape species, as well as other primates and bird species.

Spend the day exploring the sanctuary before returning to Jorhat for an overnight stay.
Day 08 Jorhat to Nameri National Park (198.9 km / 4 hrs 49 mins)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Nameri National Park, located along the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. Known for its diverse birdlife, Nameri offers visitors the chance to experience nature at its finest.

Day 09 Activities and Sightseeing at Nameri National Park

Return to your lodge in the evening for an overnight stay at Nameri.
